“Happy and Healthy Citizen” Project by the Royal Medical Team – the eighth round of 2025 at Thonburi Women Correctional Institute, Bangkok

 

     On 14th May 2025, the Crown Property Bureau collaborated with the Faculty of Dentistry of Chulalongkorn University, Siam Commercial Bank PCL, the SCB Foundation, Siam Cement PCL, the SCG Foundation, Deves Insurance PCL, Thai Beverage PCL, Airports of Thailand PCL, the Royal Bangkok Sports Club, PTT PCL and BJC Big C Group in organising dental unit as part of “Happy and Healthy Citizen” Project by the Royal Medical Team – the eighth round of 2025 at Thonburi Women Correctional Institute, Bangkok.

     H.E. Mr. Kasem Watanachai, the Privy Counsellor and the Chairman of the Project, presided to the opening ceremony. In attendance were Air Chief Marshal Satitpong Sukvimol, the Lord Chamberlain of the Bureau of the Royal Household and the Director-General of the Crown Property Bureau, alongside executives from the Crown Property Bureau, government agencies, and partner organisations. Together, they extended encouragement and support to the medical team, volunteers, and patients.

     Since its inception in 2022, the "Happy and Healthy Citizen Project by the Royal Medical Team" has carried out 44 mobile units across all regions, covering 26 provinces. It has provided treatment to a total of 21,033 patients, addressing cataract and dental health issues.

    During the eighth round of 2025, the mobile medical unit successfully delivered dental treatment to 335 inmates and oral hygiene guidance to 327 inmates, reaching a total of 662 individuals.


     In 2025, the “Happy and Healthy Citizen” Project by the Royal Medical Team is committed to uniting volunteer doctors and partner agencies to continuously provide health security, reflecting genuine collaboration in promoting the wellbeing of the people.
