Following His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn’s aspiration to provide quality health care for all Thais, the Crown Property Bureau, in collaboration with Faculty of Medicine of Mahidol University (Ramathibodi Hospital), the Crown Prince Fund student volunteers, the Siam Commercial Bank PCL, the Siam Cement PCL, SCG Foundation, Thai Beverage PCL and the Deves Insurance PCL in organising “Happy and Healthy Citizen” Project by the Royal Medical Team – the eleventh round of 2023 at Nakhon Pathom Hospital, Nakhon Pathom Province. The provision of medical services consisted of eye surgery unit for 270 patients, 7 of which were the tenants from Petchaburi Province, and dental unit for 301 patients.
The opening event of the project and “Dek Thai Fai Dee” activity was held on 20th September 2023, presided by the Governor of Nakhon Pathom Province.
On this day, Air Chief Marshal Satitpong Sukvimol, the Lord Chamberlain of the Bureau of the Royal Household and the Director-General of the Crown Property Bureau, together with Police Colonel Thumnithi Wanichthanom, the Senior Deputy Director-General of the Crown Property Bureau and the Vice Chairman of “Mobile Royal Medical Unit” project, inspected the project activities and provided support for all medical volunteers.
On 21st September 2023, H.E. Mr. Kasem Watanachai, the Privy Counsellor, the Board Member of the Crown Property Bureau and the Chairman of the Project, was present to support the medical team and offer royally bestowed eyeglasses to post-surgery patients, as well as to inspect “Dek Thai Fai Dee” activities.
On the same day, Emeritus Professor Pornchai Simaroj (M.D.), Head of Centre for Health Policy and Management of Ramathibodi Hospital, presided to the closing ceremony of “Dek Thai Fai Dee” activity and presented certificates to all participants.
On 22nd September 2023, the Governor of Nakhon Pathom Province presided to the closing ceremony of “Happy and Healthy Citizen” Project by the Royal Medical Team.
