His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn's commitment to national development, aimed at enhancing stability and improving the well-being of his people, aligns with the principles of sustainable development—particularly in ensuring equitable access to medical care. This vision led to the creation of the "Happy and Healthy Citizen Project by the Royal Medical Team," a collaborative initiative between the Crown Property Bureau and medical volunteers. Since its inception in 2022, the project has carried out 38 mobile units across all regions, covering 23 provinces. It has provided treatment to a total of 17,448 patients, addressing cataract and dental health issues.

On 7th February 2025, the Crown Property Bureau in collaboration with Banphaeo General Hospital (Public Organisation), the Siam Commercial Bank PCL, SCB Foundation, the Siam Cement PCL, SCG Foundation, Thai Beverage PCL, the Deves Insurance PCL, the Airports of Thailand PCL and the Royal Bangkok Sports Club, organised the second round of the 2025 "Happy and Healthy Citizen Project by the Royal Medical Team" to offer equal and timely access to medical care for people in remote areas nationwide. The project successfully provided surgical treatment for 341 eye patients at Nanoi Hospital, Nan Province. On this occasion, the Deputy Governor of Nan presided over the opening ceremony. Together with executives from the Crown Property Bureau, government organisations, and partner organisations, they distributed eyeglasses and provided support for the medical team, volunteers and patients.

Established in 1979, Nanoi Hospital was initially a 10-bed hospital. Later, a building was constructed to expand it into a 30-bed community hospital, the third of its kind in the province. It provides health promotion services to 12 villages in the district.
