Following His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn’s aspiration to provide quality health care for all Thais, the Crown Property Bureau collaborated with the Faculty of Medicine of Mahidol University (Ramathibodi Hospital), medical volunteers, the Crown Prince Fund student volunteers, Nangrong Hospital and other partners, to organise “Happy and Healthy Citizen” Project by the Royal Medical Team from 12th – 14th July 2023. As the seventh tour of 2023, the medical unit provided eye surgery for a total of 325 patients and dental service for 578 patients at Nangrong Hospital and Ratpracha Nukhro 51 School in Burirum Province.
On 12th July 2023, Emeritus Professor Pornchai Simaroj (M.D.), Head of Centre for Health Policy and Management of Ramathibodi Hospital, presided to the opening ceremony of “Dek Thai Fai Dee” activity.
To support all medical staff, Air Chief Marshal Satitpong Sukvimol, the Lord Chamberlain of the Bureau of the Royal Household and the Director-General of the Crown Property Bureau, together with Police Colonel Thumnithi Wanichthanom, the Senior Deputy Director-General of the Crown Property Bureau and the Vice Chairman of the project, inspected the activities and provided eyeglasses for patients who underwent the operation.
On 13th July 2023, H.E. Mr. Ampon Kittiampon, the Privy Councillor, the Crown Property Bureau’s board members, and the Vice Chairman of the project, presided to the opening ceremony of “Happy and Healthy Citizen” Project by the Royal Medical Team to encourage medical staff, provide eyeglasses for patients who underwent surgery and inspect “Dek Thai Fai Dee” activity. Emeritus Professor Pornchai Simaroj (M.D.) presented certificates of attendance to participants.
On 14th July 2023, the Deputy Governor of Burirum Province presided to the closing ceremony of “Happy and Healthy Citizen” Project by the Royal Medical Team.
