Following His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn’s aspiration to provide quality health care for all Thais, the Crown Property Bureau teamed up with the Faculty of Medicine of Mahidol University (Ramathibodi Hospital), volunteer ophthalmologists, volunteer dentists, the Crown Prince Fund student volunteers and partner organisations in organising eye surgery unit for 452 patients and dental unit for 346 patients as part of “Happy and Healthy Citizen” Project by the Royal Medical Team – the twelfth round of 2023 from 11th – 13th October at Yasothon Hospital, Yasothon Province.
On 11th October 2023, the Deputy Governor acting as the Governor of Yasothon Province presided to the opening ceremony of the project and “Dek Thai Fai Dee” activity.
On 12th October 2023, H.E. Mr. Ampon Kittiampon, the Privy Councillor, the Crown Property Bureau’s board member, and the Vice Chairman of the project, gave support for medical staff, provided eyeglasses for patients who underwent surgery and inspected “Dek Thai Fai Dee” activity.
Upon the closing of “Dek Thai Fai Dee” activity, Emeritus Professor Pornchai Simaroj (M.D.) presented certificates of attendance to participants. On 13th October 2023, the Deputy Governor acting as the Governor of Yasothon Province presided to the closing ceremony of “Happy and Healthy Citizen” project.
