In constructing national stability and happiness for all subjects, His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn recognises the importance of providing quality health care for all Thais. Such aspiration has led to the initiation of mobile medical unit that travels with specialised doctors nationwide. Since the establishment in 2022, the project has provided cure for 16,122 cataract and dental patients in total.
On 18th – 19th December 2024, the Crown Property Bureau collaborated with the Faculty of Dentistry of Chulalongkorn University and partner organisations in organising dental service for 695 patients as part of “Happy and Healthy Citizen” Project by the Royal Medical Team – the seventeenth round of 2024 at Wat Phuket, Nan Province.
On 18th December 2024, the Deputy Governor of Nan Province presided to the opening ceremony of the project.
On 19th December 2024, Air Chief Marshal Satitpong Sukvimol, the Lord Chamberlain of the Bureau of the Royal Household and the Director-General of the Crown Property Bureau, together with Police Colonel Thumnithi Wanichthanom, the Senior Deputy Director-General of the Crown Property Bureau and the Vice Chairman of the Project, inspected dental procedures, gave support for all including medical staff, Crown Prince Fund student volunteers, citizen volunteers as well as patients.
In 2025, “Happy and Healthy Citizen” Project by the Royal Medical Team remains dedicated to providing cataract surgery and dental service for patients. This effort is made possible through the collaboration of partner organizations, doctors, nurses, and volunteers, with the aim of ensuring a solid foundation of good health for the people.
