Grant handover ceremony for "Happy and Healthy Citizen Project by the Royal Medical Team" at the Faculty of Medicine, Ramathibodi Hospital

 

     On 2nd October 2024, Air Chief Marshal Satitpong Sukvimol, the Lord Chamberlain of the Bureau of the Royal Household and the Director-General of the Crown Property Bureau, together with H.E. Mr. Kasem Watanachai, the Chairman of “Happy and Healthy Citizen Project by the Royal Medical Team”, received capital grant from the Airports of Thailand Public Company Limited. (AOT) At the Faculty of Medicine of Ramathibodi Hospital, the funding of 7,200,000 baht was handed over by Police General Visanu Prasattongosoth, Chairman of the Board of Directors, as well as Board Members, for the project’s organisation of mobile medical units which provide eye surgery and dental services for people nationwide.

     “Happy and Healthy Citizen Project by the Royal Medical Team" was initiated by the Crown Property Bureau with a strong commitment to follow His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn's aspiration in national development and the improvement of the livelihood of his subjects as commanded upon his coronation that “I shall sustain, preserve and continue and shall reign with righteousness for the benefit and happiness of the people forever.” Following the royal aspiration, social mission in the field of medical services has been developed to offer health support for Thai people of all ages and backgrounds. These free-of-charge services are accessible through mobile medical units in which doctors and medical staff travel to provincial areas to deliver quality healthcare throughout the nation.
